Even before the pandemic took hold, the past two years have been chaotic for major watch fairs in Switzerland, with many unexpected happenings before COVID-19 put an end to the physical event in 2020. But now it Seems the world is back on track, with Watches & Wonders (W&W) set to take place at the end of March 2022 – as a physical event at its traditional Palexpo venue.

After two years of all-digital shows, Watches and Wonders returns with an impressive lineup and hybrid format, bringing back in-person events and plenty of spectacular watches.

Held from March 30 to April 5 in Geneva, Watches and Wonders 2022 will feature panel discussions, exhibitions and presentations from some of the biggest names and brands in the watch industry.

A total of 38 Maisons will display their pieces and superior craftsmanship, while a “Time Design” exhibition will showcase the evolution of wristwatch design and pay homage to the famous Swiss watch designer, Mr. Gérald Genta.

The event will also feature exclusive watchmakers such as Cartier, Hermès, Rolex, Chopard, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget and Ulysse Nardin.

New additions to the event lineup include TAG Heuer, Hublot and Grand Seiko.

The annual Watches and Wonders event is organized by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie and is held at Palexpo in Geneva. Baselworld, another major luxury watch and jewelry event, will overlap this year with Watches and Wonders, which runs from March 31 to April 4.
