Someone buy this man a guayabera.
Vince Vaughn was spotted this weekend at the Bang Model Volleyball Tournament on the sands of Miami Beach, dressed all in black.
Locals know this color doesn’t go well with our sunny weather, but we’re going to give the actor some slack. The Minneapolis native was raised outside of Chicago, so he’s likely used to dressing for cold weather in March.
So, in addition to watching bikini-clad models compete for charity, Vaughn is in Magic Town for work.
The 51-year-old “Wedding Crashers” star is filming the upcoming Apple series “Bad Monkey,” based on Miami Herald columnist Carl Hiaasen’s 2013 novel of the same name.
The married father of two turned heads this month in Key West. Locals lined up in February at a casting call for extras at the Comedy Key West club.
Key West locals have shared their sightings of Vaughn on social media, including a widely shared photo of the star riding a bike – as he waves at the photographer – along Greene Street by Duval who took the seat on March 9.
The cast and crew members spent time filming at the historic Key West Seaport. At one point, the film crew used their gear to rain down near the Half Shell Raw Bar for a scene. Another location was outside of RockHouse Live Key West on Duval.
Vaughn plays Andrew Yancy, a former Miami cop turned health inspector for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office investigating a very Florida case involving a human arm (and a monkey). So expect to see Vaughn in town; You can not miss it. He is six foot five and wears black on the beach.
