These G-Shock watches maintain their indestructible heritage

Earlier this year, CASIO unveiled a series of new G-SHOCK watch iterations. Indestructible watches have cemented their place in popular culture and fashion, becoming symbols of next-level strength and technicality.

One of those recent releases was G-SHOCK’s black and white Skeleton series in February, which straddled futuristic minimalism and iconic G-SHOCK design and DNA elements we know and love so well.

The series has introduced a variety of new models, two of which are highlights thanks to their sleek design aesthetics as well as the advanced technological features they offer. The GA-2100-1A1 Analog-to-Digital Blackout and GA-2100SKE are both based on the archive GA-2100, a long-standing G-SHOCK staple that draws inspiration from the very first watch, the DW- 5000C. The slim profile, clean design and octagonal shape of the GA-2100 have become a popular choice among young people around the world, but also for all other demographics, hence its enduring presence in the latest G-SHOCK designs. .

The GA-2100SKE features a see-through strap and case, illuminator, stopwatch function, timer, five alarms, automatic calendar and, if that wasn’t enough , waterproof to 20 bars (i.e. 200 meters of water pressure). With identical characteristics, the GA-2100-1A1 is more daring in its appearance. The all-black color is timeless but recalls the connection of the Skeleton ranges to classic sci-fi movies and a more post-modern aesthetic.
