The Michael Hill jewelry chain featured Seiko watches in a selection of Australian and New Zealand stores and on their e-commerce website.
The line includes 53 âpremiumâ models for men and women from Seiko’s Prospex, Presage, Armstrong, Coutura and Le Grand Sport collections, and will sell for between $ 650 and $ 3,750.
It is the only brand of watches stocked by Michael Hill, apart from its Michael Hill in-house range; Michael Hill had already stocked Seiko watches a few years ago.
Yukiaki Suganuma, Managing Director of Seiko Australia, said: âSeiko is delighted to partner with Michael Hill.
âWe look forward to launching our brand in Michael Hill stores and working with his teams in this exciting new chapter. “
Daniel Bracken, CEO of Michael Hill International, added: âWe are delighted to relaunch our relationship with Seiko and present a range of Seiko watches to our Michael Hill customers in Australia and New Zealand.
âSeiko is a brand with a very proud history, and they share our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
“The introduction of Seiko watches also offers a great expansion of our men’s offerings, with classic and elegant timepieces that will become a treasured part of every wardrobe.”
Customers who purchase Seiko watches through Michael Hill will receive an âelectronic warrantyâ, and repairs and services follow Michael Hill’s usual terms and will be performed by Seiko.
With the exception of Michael Hill, Seiko has 286 dealers in Australia and New Zealand according to its website, including large chains Wallace Bishop, Bevilles and Shiels, and smaller chains Salera’s, Regency Jewelers and Hoskings.
