Casio launches all-metal G-SHOCK watches with octagonal bezel

TOKYO, July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. today announced the latest additions to its G-SHOCK shock resistant watches. These three new GM-B2100 watches, with an all-metal design now adopted for the iconic octagonal bezel of the 2100 line.

These new shock-resistant GM-B2100 watches use stainless steel as the outer material for the case, bracelet, and bezel, advancing the 2100 line in both all-metal construction and sharp design. In order to ensure the shock resistance of these metal-coated watches, the shock-resistant structure created for the iconic shape of the all-metal GMW-B5000 has also been adopted for the screw-down case, bracelet and bezel joints of these watches. watches. , with fine resin buffer components installed between the bezel and the case.

The bezel, which undergoes meticulous processes – first forging, then cutting and polishing – is precisely crafted for a complexly shaped face that is eye-catching, strong and elegant. To accentuate the beauty of the metal, the components are treated with different finishes – the bezel with a circular hairline finish on its upper surface, the band with a vertical hairline finish, and the bezel bezel, buttons and case back with a mirror finish.
